Sunday evening treat! Had the pleasure this year to finally see the insides of the Mäusebunker. It is the most brutalist building in Berlin West and was and still is highly controversial. The owners are thinking about demolishing it and we all hope they won’t. The city is contemplating wether to list it or not and we all hope they will. But unfortunately I have to tell you that it really is a tough one to keep and maintain. Not a lot of natural light and a structure that makes internal changes almost impossible. The only rooms that are really nice are the once with the iconic windows. So on the fence here! Does anyone have a proper solution?
